Scott Williams

Westminster Choir College

Scott has been teaching music lessons now for 8 years. Since early childhood he has been singing and playing the guitar.  He studied at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. While there, he had the distinct honor of performing Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem with the New York Philharmonic, The Dresden Philharmonic and the New Jersey Symphony in multiple performances at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center New York, New York as well as the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. He then went on to work with Mid-America Productions and the New England Symphonic Ensemble to sing over a dozen performances of various classical choral masterworks at Carnegie Hall in New York, NY.

Scott concedes that through dedicated practice of an instrument or voice, one can make his/her musical aspirations a reality.  He has been playing guitar in various bands and jazz ensembles since a very young age. He is currently the lead guitarist in Halcyon Days which performs a wide variety of musical styles. The styles he excels in teaching and in playing include (but are not limited to) Rock, Jazz, Classical, Reggae, Punk, Progressive, Metal, Experimental, Avant Garde, Pop, Funk, Blues, and Jam.
