ABOUT US

The Hudson School of Music opened in the summer of 2012. Previously, the school was known as Jam Session Music School and located in Kent. The school was founded by local musicians looking to offer a personalized and unique option for music instruction in the area. The founders met while studying at The University of Akron.

 

OUR TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Our teachers believe it is important to tailor lessons to the needs and goals of the student. All lessons will encourage and prepare students to perform.

 

OUR FOCUS ON COMMUNITY

We believe it is important to teach our students the impact music can have on society. We lead by example through our support of a number of local charities, including  the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, GriefCare Place, The Akron Dog Park and more.
