Andrew Stefaniak is a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music where he received a Bachelors and Masters degree in Clarinet Performance. While at the University of Cincinnati, Andrew studied with two current and former members of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra: Jonathan Gunn and Carmine Campione. Andrew participated in a wide variety of ensembles during his time at the University of Cincinnati, such as the Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, and the Concert and Philharmonia Orchestras. He also participated in the Chamber Winds and Chamber Players, which are small, flexible groups of musicians performing
awide variety of contemporary and traditional chamber literature.

One of Andrew's favorite musical experiences was when he was selected to participate in the Chautauqua Music Festival in Chautauqua, New York. 

In addition to his experience on clarinet, Andrew is also a proficient pianist with twenty years of experience and having studied as an honors secondary piano student at the University of Cincinnati. 

Andrew is originally from Hinckley, Ohio and relcated back to the area following graduation. He is currently an active teacher and freelance clarinetist in Northeast Ohio, having performed several times with the Canton Symphony and being an alternate musician for both the Akron Sympony Orchestra and the Erie Philharmonic. He also performs with the FSM Trio, consisting of teachers from the Fairlawn School of Music. The trio includes Sarah Barford (Oboe/Piano) and Kaitlyn Zevchek (Flute).

Andrew cultivates a strong interest in the classical repertoire for clarient in the solo, chamber and orchestral genres, as well as an appreciation for all styles of music, past and present. Andrew's teaching styles pulls from a wide range of techniques based on his experiences with a variety of pedagogical approaches and styles of clarinet playing. He tailors lessons and materials to meet each student's abilities, goals, and interests. In all cases, Andrew places a strong emphasis on developing correct clarinet fundamentals which are the musical and technical skills that enable a student to achieve his or her goals.
