Scott Hanna

Bachelor of Music in Music Education,
Kent State University

 

Scott has performed with many groups and has great experience with all saxophone playing such as jazz, classical, contemporary, funk and rock. Scott performs on saxophone, flute and percussion with the local group Back 9 Par 4. He studied saxophone with Dr. Jeffery Heisler and Mr. Greg Banaszak at Kent State University where he obtained a degree in Music Education. Scott has performed in the Kent State Jazz ensemble, Wind ensemble performing on bass clarinet and contrabass clarinet, small performing groups and in solo settings. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with young musicians to further their music education.

 

Currently, Scott maintains a private teaching studio while also working with students in local school districts. He is an assistant marching band director for the Brecksville-Broadview Heights marching band and also works with the Nordonia schools music program.
