Daniel J. Kshywonis, or Drummer Dan, has had an interest in playing drums ever since he picked up his first pair of drum sticks at the age of four. He grew up in the Akron area and has played with many groups in the style of punk, rock, reggae, blues, funk, salsa, jazz and many more. He has performed, continued his education and taught percussion drumkit for nine years at previous locations throughout the USA. He has also recorded on an extensive collection of records from various artists. His influences include the late, great Carlos "Patato" Valdez, Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez, Danny Carey, Vinnie Colaiuta, Celia Cruz, and Bata'.
